West Penn Family Practice

West Penn Family Practice opened in 1990.
We are a teaching practice, which means our senior physicians and residents are all academic doctors who keep up with the latest evidence and developments in Family Medicine.
The physicians of West Penn Family Practice are committed to caring for people of all ages and are trained to care for a wide range of problems. Your personal physician "specializes in you". This integrated approach to your health assures convenience, quality and cost-effectiveness.

NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.

WEST PENN FAMILY PRACTICE ACHIEVED THE DIABETES PHYSICIAN RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Developed by NCQA and the American Diabetes Association, this program utilizes evidence-based measures to recognize physicians who provide excellent care to their diabetic patients.
