Our practice has been an intricate part of the Penn Hills community since 1987. Dr. Emanuel Mamatas is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Geriatric Medicine. We provide thorough medical exams, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy and a host of other services. We treat our senior population with patience and understanding, and we pride ourselves in providing quality care to all our patients. NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.
