Health Center Associates is a four-physician practice specializing in primary care/internal medicine. Our practice has been in existence for over 40 years and all of our physicians are board-certified in internal medicine. We have two office locations to service patients in the surrounding Pittsburgh area, one at 5140 Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield and the second located at 2345 Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill. As primary care physicians, each is ready to offer diagnosis and treatment of health-related problems based on a patient's medical history as well as up-to-date medical findings.
NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.
HEALTH CENTER ASSOCIATES ACHIEVED THE HEART/STROKE RECOGNITION PROGRAM Developed by NCQA and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, this program utilizes evidence-based measures to recognize physicians who provide excellent care to cardiovascular patients.
