Bloomfield Medical Associates, under the direction of Dr. Francis Cavanaugh, Dr. Roberto Bendoni, and Dr. Sangeeta Komerally began welcoming new and existing patients on August 1, 2009. Formerly, the practice of Health Center Associates, Bloomfield Medical provides primary care medical services to the residents of Bloomfield, Shadyside, and the surrounding areas. Easily accessible with free valet parking, we strive to provide the optimum in preventative medical care. Our on-site laboratory and radiology services make access to complete care readily available. Dr. Francis Cavanaugh is a board certified internist who has been in private practice for over 20 years in the Pittsburgh Area. He went to hahnemann Medical College and did his residency at St. Francis Medical Center. Dr. Cavanaugh has had many accomplishments in which he has served in the role as the medical director, has chaired many medical committees and teaches for the West penn Medicl residents. He is a member of the American college of physicians and the Association of Medical Directors. Dr. Roberto Bendoni is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Florence in Italy and did his residency at Easton Hospital in Easton PA. Dr. Bendoni also did a residency program in anesthesiology and critical care at the Careggi Hospital in Florence, Italy. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, American society of Internal Medicine and Felowship American College of Physicians. Dr. Lillian Ochoco Cavanaugh attended the University of Pittsburgh and the Southwestern University college of Medicine in the Phillipines. She did her residency at St. Francis and Shadyside Hospitals. Dr. lillian has been in private practice for over 20 years and also cares for patients in area nursing homes. Dr. Sangeeta Komerally is a new physician who has just completed her residency at West Penn Hospital. She attended medical school at Jawarharlal Nehru College in India. She is an associate member of the American college of Physicians.
