APPOINTMENT HOURS

Our telephones are answered from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm by our phone operators, or our automated system which is designed to save you time and expedite a response.

After dialing our main number (412-655-8650) you will be asked to choose one of the options listed below:

1- Calling from a hospital or physician office

2- To schedule, cancel or reschedule appointments or to request a copy or transfer medical records

3- Prescription Refills

4- If you are ill or are experiencing a medical problem

5- Test Results

6- Referrals and authorizations

7- Billing or insurance questions

**If you are calling from a rotary phone, stay on the line and your call will be answered.

CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOW POLICIES:

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call our office 24 hours in advance so that we may care for another patient at that time.

We have a no-show policy that states: "If a patient does not call or if they cancel less than 24 hours prior to their appointment, a fee will be charged after the second time in one year."

EMERGENCY CARE

Should an emergency arise after 4:30 p.m. or on a weekend or holiday, please call (412)655-8650 to reach our answering service. Physicians are notified of every patient call to ensure proper treatment. Calls for information or results must be made between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The answering service will only address emergencies
