Creighton Medical Center

Creighton Medical Center has been under the direction of Xiaohong Helen Wang, M.D. since January 1, 2005. Both Dr. Wang and her friendly and caring staff are committed to providing compassionate, quality health care to all of our patients, ages 12 and older. We accept most major insurance plans and gladly see walk-in patients as our schedule allows. Dr. Wang provides house calls for homebound patients and treats patients at many local nursing homes in this area.

Dr. Wang is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and serves as a team physician for the Springdale Dynamo High School football team and also as a physician for the Allegheny Valley School District. Dr. Wang has hospital privileges at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.
