Burrell Internal Medicine

Burrell Internal Medicine has been in the Alle-Kiski Valley since 2003. Daniel Steiner, MD joins the practice starting in January 2008. Dr. Steiner has practiced primary care medicine for nearly

20 years in the communities of Cheswick and Oakmont and is brings a highly respected reputation of providing excellent, compassionate patient care.

Dr. Steiner is on staff at West Penn Hospital and Alle-Kiski Medical Center. He specializes in preventative care and aggressive treatment of

all general internal medicine problems. His

sub-specialty is in geriatrics, and he is on staff

at Presbyterian Care and Harmar Village Nursing

Homes.


Dr. Steiner is also recognized by the National

Committeefor Quality Assurance for his outstanding

treatment of diabetic patients.

 

NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) works with large employers, policy makers, doctors, patients and health plans to decide what is important, how to measure it and how to promote improvement. Physician practices who have met stringent criteria measuring health plan performance are given three-year certification and also receive financial rewards depending on their level of program attainment.
